UCAN’s HOP food box delivery service is currently on hold. UCAN is not accepting applications for this service or scheduling deliveries at this time. Any future restart will be announced after authorization and service requirements are confirmed.

UCAN is planning a coordinated Food Hub and Farmers’ Market initiative, with Spring 2027 as a tentative planning target. Neither is open for intake or regular operations. Timing depends on funding, site readiness, staffing, permits, and final approvals. Confirmed details will be announced here.
UCAN! has been selected as a 2026–2027 North Carolina Black Alliance Environmental Justice Mini Grant recipient — chosen from the most competitive applicant pool in the program's history. This $5,000 award funds the UCAN EJ Health Navigator: an AI-powered environmental hazard mapping tool paired with a youth-led community data program that puts environmental health intelligence directly into the hands of Brunswick County residents.
